Fellow director, Stefan Volak, joined the business not long after it was formed, having spent nearly 10 years as a newspaper reporter on regional dailies. He heads CW’s content and design teams.

“But, I’m still writing news stories after all these years,” he says. “Despite the boggling variety of new channels and formats, the ability to distill facts into simple, engaging copy remains the communicator’s most potent tool.”

With two young daughters, much of Stefan’s spare time is spent shuttling them to and from their chosen pastimes, but he is gamely rekindling his love of sailing.
